Brixton Since 2004

Despite the name, Brixton isn't from London. It was founded in 2004 in Oceanside, California by David Stoddard, Jason Young and Mike Chapin, and the name is a nod to The Clash's "The Guns of Brixton". It all started in a garage with one hat, the Hooligan newsboy cap, and grew into a full clothing brand inspired by what mariners, aviators, cowboys and working people have worn for generations, updated for how people dress today. How to Choose a Brixton Hat

Headwear is where Brixton shines, and it's worth a minute to get the right one. Think about four things: crown shape, brim width, material and size. Caps and snapbacks are usually adjustable or one size, but fitted brimmed hats like fedoras and wide-brims are sized by head circumference. To find yours, measure around your head just above your ears and eyebrows, then check it against the size chart on the listing. Materials change from hat to hat, so if you're after wool, straw or cotton, check the product details.
