Another Dimension... Introducing the new Stance Anthem Beatie Boys collection. Featuring two new designs, the collection references the group's debut record, License to Ill, as well as their Grammy Award winning album, Hello Nasty.
Beastie Boys’ debut record, Licensed to Ill, is one of the most influential albums in hip-hop history. Instrumental in setting fire to the burgeoning genre of hip-hop music in the suburbs, the trio set in motion a decades-long legacy of brash, unhinged antics and recently crossed the 10 million sold albums threshold. The piece takes cues from the album cover, which features a classic Beastie Boys badge printed on an all-black sock.
Hello Nasty, A Throwback to 1998 when American hip-hop group Beastie Boys released their fifth studio album. Debuting at number 1 on the US Billboards and earning not one but two awards at the '99 Grammys, the album, Hello Nasty, was nothing short of intergalactic. Inspired by the album cover, the sock depicts members Horovitz, Yauch, and Diamond wrapped in an aluminium sardine tin, baking in the sun.
